    Icon2 NEW GT500 Track Set up 🏁

    Picked up some P-ZEROs from the World Challenge for the GT500.

    Running 285-645-18s on the Front and did not need the spacers, the Rear has 305-645-18s.










    Test fit the wheels and the thicker lugs you have to use with these BBS Race Wheels and everything fits great!





    Also got the extended ARP Wheel Studs on the Rear and the Stop Tech rotors on.



    Now ready for the Track. 🏁

    Why not 305s all around JT? With all the weight on the nose of that car, it could use them!

    Completely agree Ed, when I got these tires there
    where not 4 305s that were viable in the same compound, so I got the 285s that are in good shape and the two 305s Rears that are in incredible condition only a few laps. In order to have 4 DH Compounds, I had to take the 285s.
    After I burn the fronts off, the plan is to get two more DH 305s at the end of the season and run squared, I already have the 1/8 spacers from MM to do it.

    That said, this 285 will be the largest front tire I have lapped in, my Hoosiers were 265s.

    There you go, I wondered if it was a case of getting them as a staggered set due to availability. I'm guessing that your old setup must have been a bit "understeery" with the big stagger, but maybe you just adapted your driving style to suit. I think you'll find the new setup gives a bunch more bite with the better rubber in the larger sizes ... enjoy!!!

    88 FOX Vert Braking System is now complete!

    Front: Ford GT Brakes with OEM Supercar Calipers, OEM Two Piece Drilled Brembo Full Floating Rotors, Porterfield Pads and Custom Goodridge SS Lines

    Rear: 04 Cobra Rear Calipers with Drilled Brembo Sport Rotors and Porterfield Pads

    One more thing checked off the ToDo list.
